Valeria d’Arbela: Venetian Alchemy
Some thirty works including paintings and graphic art on the subject of the Lagoon City present at the exhibition halls of the modern art museum the poetic exhibition halls of the modern art museum the poetic world of Valeria d’Arbela (1930 – 2002): from the early works filled with dreamlike and literary ghosts and from the consequent expressionist works to her 1950s Realism and to the large-scale ink drawings of her last years.Show and catalogue curated by G. Bianchi, S.D’arbela, S. De Lazzari and D. Ferrante.
The exhibition is accompanied by two related events dedicated to several leading women in the cultural world of the postwar years in Venice.
