Festa del Bocolo
On April 25 in Venice the party doubles: as in all of Italy we celebrate the liberation from the fascist government thanks to the American allies and we also celebrate our patron San Marco. According to the tradition, every lover gives his beloved a "bòcolo", which is a red rosebud.

The Festa della Sensa recalls the ancient splendor of the Serenissima. The most exciting events take place on Sunday: the water procession and the Venice Wedding ceremony with the sea.
Venice Boat Show
June 3rd -7th 2020
The appointment with the Boat Show is renewed in 2020. You can admire the design applied to boating in the fantastic setting of the Arsenale, a symbol of the ancient Venetian maritime tradition.
Feast of the Redeemer
July 18th , 2020
Every third Saturday in July there is the Festa del Redentore, which has its origins in the history of the city. The Venetians in fact celebrate its liberation, an event celebrated with the construction of the homonymous basilica of Palladio on the island of Giudecca, which can be reached on this occasion thanks to a bridge of boats 330 meters long.
But the most awaited event is the fireworks display in the San Marco Basin: from the early afternoon, citizens and tourists gather on the banks overlooking the basin and, the luckiest ones, by boat or on the terraces.
Even from our roof terrace you can comfortably admire the tallest fireworks. On this evening, as in the whole summer season, you can book our roof terrace exclusively and enjoy the delights prepared by our La Rivista Restaurant.

2020 is the year of the International Architecture Exhibition, an opportunity to see the genius of Italian and international architects, designers and artists whose works are exhibited at the Arsenale Gardens and in various places in the city. The theme chosen for this edition is "How will we live together?". The event officially opens its doors to the public on August 29th , but insiders and journalists will be able to preview the pavilions as early as 27th and 28th.

The Venice Film Festival celebrates cinematographic art with competitions, exhibitions and events on the island and other places in the city. It takes place on the Lido of Venice and it is attended by actors and registers from all over the world.
The program is full of events and among others we recommend the International Critics' Week where the Mario Serandrei - Hotel Saturnia & International Prize for Best Technical Contribution is awarded.
During the historical regatta, one of the most spectacular events of the Venetian tradition, the Grand Canal hosts a parade of historical boats with costumed figures. Various regattas follow.
It is one of the most spectacular marathons in the world. The athletes, after running along the Riviera del Brenta, cross Marghera and Mestre and reach the historic center of Venice where they run over 14 small bridges and along Piazza San Marco. Arrival is at the Giardini.
The VM10Km is also becoming increasingly popular, a ten kilometer stretch on the final part of the marathon route, from San Giuliano to the Giardini.
Madonna della Salute
The feast of the Madonna della Salute, celebrated every year on November 21st , recalls an ancient tradition, in which the Venetians thanked the Madonna for the end of a terrible plague that occurred around 1630-31. The Basilica is easily accessible thanks to a temporary bridge built on boats on the Grand Canal and stalls with sweets and other objects are set up in the square.

Christmas lights come on and shine… even in Venice!
You can feel a magical atmosphere in this period and the city adds charm to the most picturesque views, starting with Piazza San Marco and of course Dorsoduro!
